Recent air-strikes on Iranian facilities might affect Tehranʼs ability to make missiles for Russia. Israeli operation targeted key production sites that make solid fuel for ballistic weapons

Last weekendʼs large-scale air-strike on Iran hit the countrys ability to make weapons for its allies. The operation (which used more than 100 aircraft) targeted special equipment that makes solid fuel for missiles

Israeli forces focused on facilities with planetary-mixers - these machines are key for making missile fuel. The attack damaged a site in Parchin where Iran does high-explosive tests; this place is linked to their weapons program

“The hit on fuel-making equipment could affect Irans choices about sending missiles to Russia if they cant replace them fast“ says Dr Sidharth Kaushal from Rusi think-tank. Moscow might face extra problems because the strikes destroyed their S-300 defense system which doesnt look good for selling weapons

  • Russia got lots of drones from Iran since 2022
  • They shot more than 8‚000 Shaheds at Ukraine
  • Now Russia makes these drones on its own

The strikes came after Iran shot 200 things at Israel on Oct-1st. This whole thing started cause Israel hit back for that attack. Now Russia might try to help Iran fix its missile-making stuff - they dont care about rules for selling weapons anymore (just look at their North-Korea deal)

UK and US made new rules bout Iran giving missiles to Russia in Sept-24. But now Tehran might need to think twice about sending more weapons to Moscow cause they need stuff for themselves
