The 53-year old presenter (who made history as BBCs first-ever female breakfast show host on Radio 1 back in late 90s) shared her future plans with listeners. Her radio career includes several note-worthy achievements:

- Breaking ground as Radio 1s first female breakfast host
- Leading Radio 2s most-listened morning program
“Its been such a privilege“ says Ball who isnt fully leaving BBC - shell continue working with Radio 2 in different ways starting next year. The morning-show veteran wants to experience regular mom-life activities like school runs instead of pre-dawn wake-ups
