Netflix star caught with huge drug stash at Manchester Airport - what happened next?

Last month Olga Bednarska a Netflix dating-show star got caught in a drug-smuggling mess at Manchester Airport. The 27-year-old Too Hot to Handle participant tried bringing in cannabis worth £150‚000 from Thailand (which was hidden in two large suitcases)

The Poland-born star got into this trouble cause of money problems - she had a £16‚000 debt before going to Thailand on Oct 10th. Some person offered her £18‚000 to bring back “designer goods“; they gave her a free hotel stay spending money and two suspicious-looking suitcases

When Border Force officers stopped her they found 39.4kg of vacuum-sealed cannabis packages hidden under clothes. At first Bednarska said she packed everything herself but later mentioned someone named ʼTexʼ who bought her tickets and wanted her to bring designer stuff back: she couldnt even open the suitcases

The judge at Manchester Crown Court - looking at her clean record and money troubles - gave her a break. Bednarska got a 20-month suspended sentence and needs to do some rehab work. “You decided to place your trust in someone you hardly knew; you were acting under others direction“ - thats what Judge Potter said during the hearing
